About ICD/YBD
Indian Christian Day / Yeshu Bhakti Divas, is an annual day of remembrance, to celebrate the person and message of Lord Jesus Christ that was brought to India nearly 2000 years ago by St Thomas the Apostle.
July 3rd, is the traditionally accepted martyrdom day of Apostle St. Thomas, Apostle of India, disciple of Lord Jesus Christ, who arrived to Kerala, South India in 52 AD and was martyred in Chennai in 72 AD.

ICD/YBD is a global initiative by volunteer ambassadors.

Samuel Theodore Liccardo is currently serving as the U.S. representative from California’s 16th congressional district. Previously, he served as the 65th mayor of San Jose from 2015 to 2023.

August 3, 2024: Bay Area’s first ICD event was attended by over 400 people from different churches. Senators Dave Cortese and Aisha Wahab presented California Senate Recognitions for Indian Christian Day.
